Problem 1. Write a Statement of Work to support a project concept.
Problem 2. Develop a task list in MS Project consisting of at least 30 tasks.
Problem 3. Task names should be descriptive but not too long.
Problem 4. List the tasks in the order they should occur.
Problem 5. Create at least three logical summary tasks with five or more subtasks in each.
Problem 6. Create at least 3 appropriate milestone tasks and format the text differently from the other tasks.
Problem 7. At a minimum, the task list should contain the task name, duration, start date, end date, cost, & predecessor/successor relationships.
Problem 8. Link all of the tasks in order to show predecessor/successor relationships.
Problem 9. Create at least 5 resources and link them to applicable tasks.
Problem 10. All tasks must have at least one resource assigned.
Problem 11. Resources should represent personnel, equipment and materials. Assign an appropriate cost factor to each resource.
Problem 12. Add a task description to at least five tasks using the notes feature.
Problem 13. Link some tasks with a finish-to-start relationship; some with a start - start relationship; and some with a finish to finish relationship.
Problem 14. Use the lead and lag time feature at least twice.
Problem 15. Format the Gantt bars to show start and end dates, and critical path.
Problem 16. Based on the total duration of your project, format the time line in months and weeks, days and hours, or Hours and minutes. Use the scale that gives the best presentation.

Problem 18. Use a minimum of 2 types of schedule constraints
Problem 19. Set a baseline plan for the entire project before proceeding to the next item.
Problem 20. Show the first 5 tasks as 100% complete. Show the next 5 tasks as 30% complete.
Problem 21. Create and save a custom report called “Task Status”. Set a filter to show tasks less than 30% complete.
Problem 22. Create and save a custom view called “Resource Status”. Set a filter to show resources assigned to tasks less than 100% complete.
Problem 23. Format the GANTT view columns to show WBS codes, Task Name, duration, start date, finish date, predecessor/successor relationships, resource names, cost, and notes.
Problem 24. Save the file in the GANTT Chart view and submit as an attached file.
Problem 25. Copy and paste the task list from MSP into Excel and submit this as a separate file. The Excel task list should include the WBS Code, task name, duration, start date, end date, and cost.
