• Do a search on a major local job search site (example: indeed.ca or Hcareers.ca) for a job in sales / business development.
• Choose a role that interests you. o Preferentially, look for something in the Hospitality, Tourism & Travel industry. But posted jobs in our industry currently are fewer right now due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so if you cannot find anything appropriate then you can choose another industry.
• Write a one-page reflection as follows, including: o Your name should be at the top of the page; o The job title (please make the job title a hyperlink to the job posting web page); o The name and location of the company; o Quote two job functions (may also called job responsibilities) listed in the posting that interest you, with a brief statement for each one to explain why it interests you; o Quote two job requirements (may also called job qualifications) in the posting that are a good fit with your qualifications and experience, with a brief explanation for each.
