Cultural Memo Assignemnt: Global Marketing
Your task in this assignment is to distill the cultural information you learned about your country of study into a series of recommendations.
The scenario is this:
• Your company is a start up company founded by a young woman who remains as CEO.
• The company is looking into doing business in the country you are studying.
• The company sells very high-end, personalized products.
• The CEO has a meeting planned with a potential business partner in the country.
• Your CEO believes that your product can command a premium price.
• She will be traveling with a male assistant.
• Her VP of engineering, a man of Indian heritage, is available to go with her if she feels it is necessary.
Write a memo that addresses the specifics of this situation and gives your CEO sound advice, in a diplomatic manner, about what she can expect, and what she should do to make the business go smoothly.
In writing a memo
• Use a standard memo format clearly identifying the purpose of each section. Microsoft Word has several templates available.
• Use clear, concise language. Should not be more than 2 pages.
• Do not use idioms or vernacular
Since this is a more personal memo than the team memos, I have attached a simple Memo format to follow.
The Country I have chosen is Monaco.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
