Based on Mullin, "Robert E. Gross and the Rise of Lockheed," pp. 57-78; Bromberg, "Legacies," pp. 16-44: Write a 2-3 page essay in which you discuss two or three examples of how and why aviation companies (and provide specific examples of specific companies) became involved in space technology (rockets, missiles, satellites) and, thus, became aerospace companies. NOTE: You must cite material from both Mullin and Bromberg.
