So let's apply our "business sense" to the task of forecasting smartphone sales for a new version of an existing phone that will be launched two years from now. Someone is doing that somewhere in the world right now because it takes multiple years to build and produce the capacity of components needed to have those phones ready for the shelf when the new version is launched.
