Windows Server with SQL 2008 Restore/Migrate to New 2012 Server
Project Description:
Presently LIVE server running Windows Server 2008 and MS SQL Server 2008.
Take Backup and restore to NEW server, running Windows Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012.
Must add moving all user accounts and databases on current server for seamless transition with directions for migrating in the need of redo.
Idyllically need to be able to swap from LIVE server to NEW server without having to make changes, keeping passwords and usernames, etc.
I will do the legwork, just need directions.
Skills required are SQL, Windows Server
