Why organizational change is important

Assignment task: Why do you agree or disagree with this conclusion?

Organizational change is important for many reasons. The first reason is for organizations to continue growing. "Organizational change is necessary for companies to succeed and grow" (Stobierski, 2020). It allows for a company to continue growing their business and their employees' success as well. Organizational change can also help employees as well. "It allows employees to understand and commit to the shift and work effectively during it" (Stobierski, 2020). When employees see positive changes occurring within an organization it can help ease any worry they may have.

There are two organization change strategies that I believe are helpful. The first strategy is to provide training. "When the change involves shifts in technologies or processes, provide adequate training for your employees to help them master the new way of doing things" (Krakoff, 2019). Giving employees the tools they need to continue successfully doing their jobs during the change is important. Trainings can allow employees to understand all changes that are going to be made and what is expected of them during and after these changes. The second strategy is to demonstrate strong leadership. "Inspire your team; demonstrate strategic thinking; be open-minded and flexible; and show your team that they can depend on you to have their best interests at heart" (Krakoff, 2019). A strong leader will help employees feel more comfortable during changes especially when they are able to answer all questions with strong answers.
