Why is due process important for the American legal system?
This what I put and I want to know if it correct. Because Political Science is about being thorough.
The Legal system is to ensure fourteenth amendment that citizen has not had been deprived of life, liberty, or unlawful seizure of person property, and that the each citizen regardless of gender, race, creed or sexual preference is guaranteed equal protection under the laws such as the fourteenth amendment.
Is this good and is there anything that I can add?
