The manager is able to give their recommendations on how the employee can improve their performance. The manager can also praise the employee for doing well and how they can contribute their expertise with their peers.

Self-evaluations are important because it gives you the opportunity to actual see how you feel your performance has been. It helps management understand how you see yourself. With this opportunity management can get together with the staff member and coach them in areas in which they are weak in. Self-evaluation is a great tool to help both management and the employee.

Always walk into work with a positive attitude. It does not matter if I had a bad day at home I still ensure that my attitude is positive. When I come in with a positive attitude my employees feed off of it and their attitude becomes positive, as well. Having a positive attitude increased production, motivation, and much more.
