Why files are backed up to a onedrive account

Case Scenario: With my files, I try to keep them organized the in the provided Documents, Videos, Pictures, etc folders provided by Windows. On my work computer. Within each folder, I have labeled subfolders to further organize my files such as a folder for my visual studio documents, a folder for school with sub-subfolders for each class, and other document types. I usually follow the same conventions for my pictures and videos. My pride and joy, though, is my music folder. I am very particular about how my music is organized. Each artist has their own folder with nested folders for their albums. The songs within the album folders are tagged with metadata to make sure they stay organized within any music library program I import them to, which now is just Plex on my QNAP. I do the same for my work PC, minus the music, and all of those files are backed up to a OneDrive account.

Question: From the above scenario, recommend an idea to consider that would enhance the approach in the scenario given above.
