So why do YOU believe that children join gangs? Is it psychological, social, a choice, alienation, etc. You discussion topic this week is to take a position on gang membership and defend it to other competing viewpoints. To aid you in this discussion, I have decided to let you her from gang members themselves. These interviews with gang set are not factual or always true. Many people lie to themselves as to why they makes the decisions they do. However, it is helpful when trying to understand why a child makes a decision, to, well, ask the child themself!
