Q1: The following hazards were identified during an inspection of a chemical laboratory

I. Burns from hot plates and flames,

II. Eye injury from splashes of chemicals

III. Suffocation due to the presence of chemical vapour

IV. Skin contact with corrosive and toxic chemicals

V. Slippery floor.

VI. LPG gas cylinder stored inside the laboratory.

VII. Large quantities of Incompatible chemicals stored together.

VIII. Emergency exit is blocked.

IX. Cut injury from breaking glass

X. Poor access to the items stored above head height.

XI. Electric shock and fire hazard due to poor cabling, over loading etc.

XII. Eye washer and shower is blocked and not working.

XIII. Chemicals are not labeled
