Problem
Scenario: You over hear Jack the classroom teacher discussing a student, Hailey's behaviour to Tom's mother. He describes her behaviour in great detail. Tom's mother asks "Why do you think she acts this way?" Jack explains that he believes her disruptive behaviour towards Tom and the other children are due to her not coping with her parent's separation.
Research the policies and procedure in the educational setting of your placement: Which legislation has the teacher breeched? Who would you obtain advice from? Who would you report non-compliance to if this occurred whilst you were at placement? Provide a brief script on how you would address this breech with the relevant person, in a way that is constructive but also supportive.
