Media coverage of recent protests varies across platforms. Many of you mentioned that traditional media outlets paint a different picture from social media do. If you are going to run an experiment to see if exposure different media reports will affect people's perceptions of BLM movement, what would you do?
o Which type of experiment will you run? pre-experiment, quasi-experiment or full experiment? Justify your choice.
o What would you do to "manipulate" your IV? What would be your DV? [you may have more than one IV or DV]
o Reflect on this experimental design, how is it different from doing a survey about the issue? Which method, in your opinion, offers more insight?
