Discussion Post: Worst Coworker
Think again about the worst coworker you've ever had-the one who did some of the things listed in Table 1-1. Think about what that coworker's boss did (or didn't do) to try to improve his or her behavior.
• What did the boss do well or poorly?
• What would you have done differently, and which organizational behavior topics would have been most relevant?
The discussion asks you to consider a current or past coworker who has low levels of either job performance, organizational commitment, or both. Draw on concepts from the course to explain exactly why this coworker is so ineffective, and how you and his/her supervisors might react, given that knowledge.
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
