Problem

Abdul is one of the human resources management generalists for a manufacturing plant north of Toronto. This is a mid-sized Canadian organization that manufactures plastic components for the auto industry. There are hundreds of production employees, supported with sales, marketing, human resources management, and accounting departments. Abdul is one of the human resources management team members and is largely responsible for labour planning when not recruiting employees. One of the tasks recently assigned to him is job analysis of the production employees. This is a task he absolutely loves-the planning, working with multiple departments and employees, and the analysis are all appealing to him. He generally completes a job analysis each time there is a substantial organizational or job change or every five years-whichever comes first. He has recently scheduled a Zoom meeting to explain this analysis to the managers and employees. He will then begin the process.
