Cultural and ethical strategies, consider the client's cultural background, as in respecting the different ways in which cultures express emotions surrounding grief (Sue et al., 2022). Ethically, counselors should also respect the client's personal beliefs and viewpoints about grief and death, to avoid imposing their own views about what they believe they should or should not do.
