Problem
Craig Raine's poem "A Martian Sends a Postcard Home" describes many commonplace items like a book, a car, and a watch for an audience (of Martians) who have never seen them. However, Raine's poem is from 1979.
For your final Writing Journal, add a new stanza to the poem (following the two-line structure and imitating the style as best you can) which describes a smartphone, or another contemporary the invention, to the Martians back home.
In addition to your new stanza, include a paragraph explaining the diction you used, and how you imitated the style of Raine's poem.
