Europeans prided themselves on expanding liberty in the New World, yet who enjoyed such liberties and to what degree varied across time and place. What is liberty? Which colonial region (Spanish, French, Dutch, British) offered individuals the most liberty? For whom? How was liberty limited in the region? Be sure to compare liberty across regions in your response. (NOTE: For this response it is acceptable to argue that none/all of the regions offered liberty as long as you can support it with evidence).
The response should include a reference list. Using double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
