In the Supreme Court's Brown v. Board of Education opinion, the court dealt with whether or not separate could ever be equal (in other words, they pretended for the sake of argument that segregated facilities in the South were actually equal). Why would perfectly equal accommodations still be unconstitutional?

The National Organization for Women's Statement of Purpose demands "all the privileges and responsibilities thereof in truly equal partnership with men." What privileges and responsibilities? How have women done since 1966 in your estimation?
