Others who were sitting around Nate began reaching for the ball and after an altercation, Sara Brown ended up with the ball. Sara said the ball was hers and denied that Nate had any claim to the ball. Since these record breaking balls can be very valuable, both Nate and Sara went to Court to establish the rightful owner of the ball.
