When do you use Big M method and 2 Phase method for Linear Programming? It says something like when you don't have obvious basic feasible solution, but I'm not sure what it means exactly. As far as I can see, the examples i saw seem like they have obvious initial BF solution, so maybe i am not sure what they are talking about. Also is this the reason for both Big M method and 2 phases?
