When discussing several disadvantages of linear programming

When Discussing several disadvantages of linear programming; clearly explain the reasons for your choices. My mind logically thinks that disadvantages to linear programming would be any production problem that may not fit the four requirements. For example, a disadvantage would be objectives or constraints that cannot be expressed in terms of a linear equation. After further research, I also found two other disadvantages that seemed to corroborate my initial thoughts. First, linear programming applies to a single objective, and many real world environments entail many objectives at once; second, the parameters are not always constant in real world scenarios (Chhabra, n.d.). These disadvantages kind of debunk my initial feelings about linear programming in the sense that it may only best fit particular fields of work or processes. Sherman (2016) provides, “A medical practice could use linear programming to determine the optimum radiation treatments for cancer patients, but medical conditions are so diverse, doctors inevitably find some that don't fit any linear model”. This leads me to believe that linear programming may be beneficial for foundational information, but the results may not be so definitive as I had thought.
