Problem: New Teacher Orientation Presentation
Locate a different online resource that can assist a new teacher in getting to know the students and their parents. This could include student interest inventories, multiple intelligences inventories, learning style surveys, cultural learner dispositions by ethnicity, activities for parents, etc.
• A different resource/activity from each individual with a copy of the activity or survey. For example, if I were to contribute a student interest inventory survey, I would include a description of the survey, what its purpose is, directions on how to locate the survey online with the link, directions to use the survey as well as an image or copy of the survey itself.
• Speaker notes or an outline for each slide with details about how you would present this information, major bullet points, or what you would say so that if any one of us had to make the presentation alone we would know exactly what to say and how to present the information to the audience. If you are going to have the new teachers engage in an activity- include directions and a script for the activity. This information can all be typed into the "Speaker notes" section of the slide.
The response should include a reference list. Using double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
