Purpose
You can learn more about a writer, a piece of literature, or the culture that gave rise to a work of literature by writing a literary research assignment. The purpose of an author, the historical correctness of a work, or any other subject that might help you understand the significance of literature can all be the subject of literary research assignment. You can use the techniques you learned while writing this assignment to conduct research in a college environment.
Thesis: Shakespeare modeled Macbeth, who was written in 1606-1607, on James I, the monarch who ruled Scotland and England in the late 1500s. Does James I's monarch reign during its own time period "conform to" or "rebel against" the Macbeth play?
You can use online sources and the Macbeth Play by Shakespeare, this problem should be only a few paragraphs with an introduction and conclusion. Each body paragraph should include an answer to the question/claim, declare what you mean, support it with textual evidence, and explain how it relates to your point, then summarize and conclude. Also, cite what sources you use. I only intend to use the work given to me as an example NOT as my own.
