Problem
Despite the heroic traits Odysseus exudes, this is only one example of Odysseus' curiosity (which led him to remain in the Cyclops' cave after filling his belly) and his prideful lack of self-control putting his men unnecessarily in harm's way and getting many of them killed? How can we reconcile his behavior with the unending support he receives from Athena, the goddess of wisdom?
