What you discuss with lmsw supervisor during supervision

Problem: I'm currently a social work intern at an agency serving older adults, where I provide supportive counseling. What would you like to discuss with your LMSW supervisor during your supervision? You have this 74-year-old woman, you are currently providing supportive counseling for, during your first meeting, you clearly explained the settings and rules of the sessions, which include confidentiality and seeing the session as a safe space where she can express her feelings. She is currently taking care of her husband and expressed that she constantly feels overwhelmed from taking care of her husband. Her husband recently went back to rehab after a recent fall, and he has been there for about two weeks now. She described not having her husband at home as a state of complete peace for her, as he constantly sends her on errands and doesn't appreciate all that she is doing for him. She confided in me that she wants to get out of the house because she cannot cope with the stress anymore, and that she was going to leave. Even though the client didn't specify what goals for the sessions would be after I had asked her several times during the sessions, she simply replied that she would just like to express her thoughts and feelings because she believes that will make her feel less overwhelmed. She has two children and one stepdaughter with all of whom their relationship is strained. She has vowed to leave her husband. What can you discuss with your supervisor? Need Assignment Help?
