What when it comes to microaggressions

Respond to at least two of your colleagues' postings in one or more of the following ways: Ask a probing question. "When it comes to microaggressions, I don't believe people should let them go. There are people who intentionally use microaggressions to confuse, undermine, and break others down mentally, spiritually and emotionally. Words can make you or break you. As the bible says, there is life and death in the tongue. We must choose our words carefully, because some people do not just let words slide, they hold on to them. If we don't address this. it will fester, leading to anger, bitterness, and even health issues. If someone points out that I used a microaggression toward them, I would immediately apologize and adjust my language I used toward them. I understand that words have a powerful impact, and I want to be someone who uses them to build someone up, not tear them down. We must be mindful of our words because we never know what someone is going through. We should strive to use our words to encourage and uplift, not to put them down, whether the harm was intentional or not, because once spoken, words linger. I think microaggressions are worse than blatant discrimination because they can linger long after the comment has been said.
