Assignment: American History to 1877
You must tell me a story using your own words on how one event affected another event over time. You can compare and contrast question one. You must have two primary sources for each question. Also, don't use the same source(s) for both questions.
1. How were Virginia, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina colonies different when analyzing their politics, economics, religious, and diversity? Please keep your answer prior to the Glorious Revolution. (minimum 500 words).
2. What were the steps leading up to the Revolutionary War? Explain how the Seven Years' War was the catalyst to start the rebellion and end just prior to the skirmish at Concord? You must include at least 5 taxes, acts, or major events leading to the disruptive relations between the American colonies leading to the Revolutionary War (minimum 500 words).
3. In detail, describe at least three major events, rebellions, or wars that allowed the American colonists to expand from the Atlantic coast into the frontier. The key word is "colonists," not states. Don't use the Seven Years' War, Revolutionary War, or any events after 1763.
