What was Sentillion's value proposition to HP (parent company)?

1990 was the year of HP Transition. The company by this time was the manufacturer and also the creator of sophisticated electronics, high margin, instrument which were commonly used for measuring, and software for application of niche in scientific, medical markets as well as in industries( Komulainen& Tuomainen,2002). The HP was of the great value in monitoring of patients for adults and the infants. It also helped in monitoring ultrasound machines which were applied in cardiology thus making the systems not to be complicated.

The value of HP helped the managers of the Hospital during that time to integrate the data set those appeared to be diverse into medical record systems that were electrically modified. The integration of data sets made those who were concerned with provision of care to be convinced that the quality of the care would be improved, reduced medical mistakes, and lowering the administrative cost by eliminating complicated processes and data bases. The HP brought different kinds of systems with different specific functions.

The key resources in the septillions business model include the following.

Creation of new standards in the industry as well as partnership: through working together with the industries and other organization contributed to cooperation as well as offering solutions to problems that provided value preposition to both the end customers and other firms within the industries. As a result the septillion model was able to get funds which enabled it to carry out its operations effectively. Secondly the Human resources played a key role in the septillions model as the capital was used to facilitate funding the customer's needs. The capital in the model was provided by the two people that are John Douglass and Rob Seliger.

The model also relied on asset that were not tangible such as application of knowledge and skills in connecting the systems with each other as well as knowing what are the demands of the customers. The model relied much on physical resources such as manufacturing facilities as well as network distribution.
