Find an article in a business publication or academic journal that contains references to statistics as an important part of the article. For example, the article U.S. Stocks Decline Amid Concern Greece Will Leave Euro in Business Week Online, March 23, 2012 uses statistics throughout to develop its hypothesis. No matter what article you select, the following are questions you should answer:
(1) What types of statistics are represented - descriptive or inferential?
(2) What types of variables are represented - quantitative or qualitative, discrete or continuous?
(3) What levels of measurement are used?
(4) How credible is the data?
(5) Are there any misleading graphs? If so, why?
