Reply. What are the theories associated with your qualitative research topic? Disability Theory, Critical Theory Compare two potential theories you are considering for your research. Critical Theory-perspectives are concerned with empowering human beings to transcend the constraints placed on them by race, class, and gender (Creswell et al., 2023). Disability Theory- inclusion in schools and encompasses administrators, teachers, students, and parents who have children with disabilities (Creswell et al., 2023). How might each theory influence the way you collect and analyze your data? The way you collect the data depends on how adolescents were raised. If they were raised in a family that just didn't care how their kids treated people then their kids are going to grow up and not care who they treat bad and who they hurt in the process. The schools, administrators and parents need to also look out for kids who show signs on mental health issues and provide care when they see it. Which theory provides a better lens for understanding your research question, and why? I think it can go either way that could provide a better understanding for my research question.
