You have a college education and you have a few family members who have helped you with childcare over the years. The father of you children sends money when he can, but it is inconsistent. Because of the pandemic, your children must do online school while you physically go to work, you are concerned about how to make sure they are cared for while you are working.
Using the scenario, answer each of the following questions in paragraph form.
This week's family situations deal with social class and gender. You will discuss the situational elements and your thoughts on how to improve the situation or advocate for the person/family.
Each submission must include four parts:
1. Weekly "situation"

- What are the immediate risks of your situation (education, drug addiction, etc.)?
- What parts of your scenario protect you (social support, money, privilege)?
3. How are social class or gender influencing the way the family is functioning?
