Problem
Professional early childhood educators are committed to developmentally appropriate practice that draws on at least three critical, interrelated bodies of knowledge: (i) what teachers know about how children develop and learn; (ii) what teachers know about the individual children in their group; and (iii) knowledge of the social and cultural context in which those children live and learn. Explain what these three critical, interrelated bodies of knowledge mean.
