How does the ending impact the rest of the story

Problem

1. At the end of the short story, Girl by Jamaica Kincaid, there is talk about the "baker and his bread" I want you to think about this and tell me what you think this means and how does this ending impact the rest of the story?

2. Also, Salvation is a work of fiction, yet the author, Langston Hughes, used his real name in the story. Why you think he did that? The obvious response is that the story really happened to Langston but that would make this a work of nonfiction rather than fiction. So, why do you think he used his real name? What other reason could there be?
