a) Does the media systematically discriminate against crime victims, favoring white victims. Does this coverage perpetuate the view of young African American males as the typical criminal offender?
b) Research this topic and prove whether or not this is occurring and what steps would you recommend to change this. (Remember this is a First Amendment issue)
