Compare & contrast negative selection in B- and T-cell development. Think of the following:
i. What self-antigens (very broad categories) are B- and T-cell receptors being selected against? Is it the same 'pool' of antigens for B- and T-cells?
ii. What stage(s) does negative selection occur in? Are the developing lymphocytes (B- and T-cells) facing negative selection at the similar developmental stages?
