He was taken away by four private security guards of Acorn due to the misidentification of Dixon and later Dixon sued the Oakland Police Department and the Personal Protective Service of Acorn for the damages caused. Dixon was awarded 135,000 dollars in compensation for the damages (Herships, 2019). The most helpful way to decrease these challenges is to ask questions from the board of the company such as "How will it look like to be in the headlines of New York Times?" Secondly, a security executive could decrease challenges by adhering to the code of conduct in the company ("What Security Executives Should Know About Ethics," 2009).
