Suddenly, she realized that she could not get through the intersection before the crossing traffic. She applied her brakes quickly but they failed to respond. She lost control of the vehicle, which jumped the curb onto the sidewalk and struck David, who was waiting on the sidewalk for the signal for pedestrians to cross the street. Mary and David were injured in the accident. If Mary Asserts a claim against Motorcycle Shop based on strict liability in tort, will she prevail?
