Activity Description- Organized Crime
The expansion of organized crime into legitimate BUSINESS PRESENTS greater problems for investigation and prosecution of these crimes. Furthermore, as crime groups are considered to be more agile than law enforcement agencies, they are able to adapt to the changing socio-political environment faster than law enforcement. In a paper, consider the following topics:
• How are organized crime groups able to stay ahead of law enforcement agencies' methods of investigation and prosecution?
• What role does legitimate business play in the agility of organized crime groups?
How can the CRIMINAL JUSTICE system better respond to organized crime in terms of their business activities?
Provide a paper that documents your analysis of organized crime and business.
