What reactive attachment disorder manifests

Problem:

50 word response to the following post: While insecure attachment refers specifically to a particular relationship, attachment disorders are not tied to any single relationship but rather reflect generalized behavior across various caregiving relationships. Reactive Attachment Disorder manifests as a failure to seek attention from caregivers, even when the child needs it due to feeling alarmed, distressed, or ill (Turner et al., 2019). For example, the child may be in pain but does not seek out their caregivers, despite needing them. Disinhibited attachment disorder (DAD) is characterized by excessive familiarity with unfamiliar adults that goes beyond age-appropriate boundaries or cultural norms. For instance, the child might wander away from their family to go off with a stranger without consulting their caregivers. The ICD-10 refers to this disorder as "disinhibited social engagement disorder" (Turner et al., 2019). Need Assignment Help?
