Osteolytic lesions are seen in x-rays of the skull, vertebrae and ribs. The patient has hypercalcemia. The patient's uric acid level is elevated. The patient has orders for zoledronic acid( Zometa), thalidomide (Thalomid), allopurinol (Zyloprim), calcitonin, ibuprofen, and vicodin.
