o Name the three bones that will be positioned under the central beam. Use directional terminology to describe the aspect of each bone under the beam.
o How many measurements would you take?
• Describe how to measure the thickness of the anatomical area that the X-ray beam is to penetrate.
• What information would you put in the radiology log before the radiograph is taken?
• When should you return the patient to his/her cage or kennel?
• Describe the difference between an elective surgery and a non-elective surgery. Provide one example for each.
