For this paper you'll pick a country (any country, EXCEPT the US, Germany, China or Nigeria) and do a relatively brief energy profile of it. You'll want to answer:
What kind of primary energy resources does it have? (oil, NG, coal, uranium, solar potential, wind potential, geothermal potential, etc.)
Are they a net importer or exporter of energy? Where do they import from or export to?
What is the current electricity mix? In other words, how do they make electricity?
Does your country subsidize energy? How?
Does the country have any policies in regards to Climate change? Energy Efficiency?
Which of the countries we've profiled in class so far does your country most resemble (US, Germany, China or Nigeria?) Explain why. It could be a combo of several of these countries, or none of them. The important thing is to justify your answer.
