What key events between the end of WWII and the Vietnam War (1945-65) do you think contributed the most toward the success of the Civil Rights movement? Name at least three court cases, demonstrations, or government actions that had a positive effect on integration. Who were the active participants -- male and female -- in winning racial equality, and who were some of their chief opponents? Why did the Civil Rights movement implode shortly after it had reached its zenith in 1965?
