A Trauma-Informed Approach to the Workforce
With a blog that summarizes the above article (A Trauma-Informed Approach to the Workplace) and answers the following questions:
i. What is trauma? Is it just an event that affects all people in the same way? (Please define trauma in your own words, but be sure to explain the role of the event, experience, and effect in your definition).

iii. How do trauma and stress affect employee well-being? Give an example to illustrate how trauma can influence someone at work..
iv. The authors state that trauma can happen on the individual/household level, but it can also occur on the community and environment level. Give an example of community or environmental trauma and explain how it could affect someone's work-related behavior.
v. The authors state that "...the brain does not distinguish between direct physical threats and threats due to toxic stress and trauma." In your own words, explain what they mean. Give an example to illustrate how the brain might misinterpret something as a threat because of past trauma.
