Problem
You will conduct background research on the organization and the neighborhood/community they serve and present the information gathered as an infographic (you can make more than one). Read the organizations' website to understand their purpose, mission, programs and services offered. Go through all information on the website in thorough detail.
Research the demographics of the neighbourhood/community to familiarize yourself with the population (i.e., potential participants of the organization). Use ward/riding/census reports to describe some of the demographics of the people who live in the neighbourhood/community that you think are relevant for an ECE to know (ethnicity, languages spoken, income level, etc.).
Choose only relevant information to include in your infographic that will help the reader understand more about the neighbourhood/community served by the organization (I.e., we don't need to know how many seniors there are in the neighbourhood unless the organization has a program that links seniors with families and children).

After your research and reading, answer the following questions and include the information in your infographic:
A. What is the organizations' main purpose?
B. What programs, services, supports are offered? There might be a range of programs but focus on early childhood programs for children (prenatal-12 years) and their families.
C. What funding does the organization receive?
D. Based on what you have learned about the organization, describe which of the 17 social determinants of health you think they address through their work and explain why.
E. Make original graphics (charts, graphs, etc.) to present the relevant demographic information that you gathered about the community/neighborhood. Brief reasoning should be provided as to why you are including this information/why you think it is relevant for an ECE to know it?
