Assignment: Information Security Analysts Research
Length: 4 to 7 pages
The research must deal with content from the course. That said, a few tips: Do not use "I" in a research paper. Your project is about your research, not you. Do not state opinions or try to "fix" something. Simply, tell the reader what the research says, and answer the question "So what?"--what conclusion should your audience draw, based on your research?
Cover each bullet point below and write each question before providing your response.
1. How does the occupation fit your skills and interests?
2. What will you be doing in the occupation?
3. What is the necessary education and/or training?
4. How many jobs are there in the occupation currently?
5. Is the occupation projected to grow, decline, or remain unchanged? Why?
6. How much does this occupation pay? What do the top 10 percent earn? The bottom 10 percent?
7. Traits and Characteristics a leader in this occupation must have
8. Leadership Behaviors, Attitudes, and Styles a leader in this occupation must have
9. How does Charismatic and Transformational Leadership play a role in this occupation?
10. Find someone with a job in the occupation you are interested in, and interview him or her. You should find out:
a. what kind of work the person does
b. what the person likes and dislikes about the job
c. what advice the person would give to someone interested in a career in this field.
After your research assess whether you would pursue a career in the selected occupation.
Format your assignment according to the give formatting requirements:
1. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
