Use the internet to locate the contact information for state child care licensing agencies and write for a copy of state licensing regulations. Request a copy of the state licensing requirements and ask for copies of the forms needed to apply for a license to operate a program for young children in the state. You also may obtain this information from the state's website. After you receive this information, answer the following questions:
• What is the allowable adult-to-child ratio in the state?
• What qualifications are staff required to meet?
The response must include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
