Problem: Although making an assignment challenging enough with a requirement for research and proof makes it difficult for students to plagiarize (Cleary, 2018, 67), would a student who truly does not want to do assignments really make an effort? Perhaps a way out would be researching, then paraphrasing several articles (with citations) for a simple summary. An assignment based off the words of other authors, basically. Would that be considered plagiarize? And what is the line between plagiarize and just too much paraphrasing, if the two are somewhat comparable?
